Originally from Scotland, I’ve called Burnley home for the past 14+ years, where I live with my husband.
Before diving into full-time coaching, I spent 23 years as an NHS Pharmacy Technician. Health and wellbeing have always been my passion.
My journey hasn’t been without challenges. In my later years at the NHS, I experienced several personal losses and was diagnosed with Graves’ disease, leading to severe hyperthyroidism symptoms.
These experiences affected my mental and physical health, leaving me feeling lost.
Everything changed in October 2022 when I discovered Belief Coding®.
This practice, alongside my medical treatments, not only helped me overcome my mental and emotional health struggles but also improved my asthma, which I’ve had since I was 7 years old, and the symptoms of hyperthyroidism.
It was truly a game-changer.
Over time, my thyroid levels stabilised after a long battle. I had been trying to get into remission for over 2 years with medicine alone.In addition to being accredited in Belief Coding®, I’m a certified Level 3 Weight Management and Life Coach
Currently, I’m working towards Level 4 & 5 Nutrition accreditation and on completion of the higher level certification, will be certified by the Royal society of public health also, which is not necessary for my coaching and mentoring but is important to me, having worked in health care for most of my life.
These certifications enable me to offer the highest standard of support and coaching, with guidance from the Royal Society of Public Health. My background with the NHS is important to me, and I bring that experience into my coaching.
I’m excited to combine my expertise in Nutrition, Health, and Wellbeing with Neuroscience backed methods like Belief Coding® to help others who have faced similar struggles. I believe true healing begins by addressing the root causes of our health issues.
My goal is to empower you to lead a more comfortable and empowered life, with a better connection to your own body and the ability to listen to it and make changes to help you improve your health alongside your current support from professionals.
It may not always feel possible to completely overcome our diagnosis and labels but by being more intune with ourselves and making healthy changes in our life, then we can aim to lead a more comfortable life at the very least!I’m passionate about being the support that I once needed.
